Neighborhood Watch Program
It is time for us to update our Neighborhood Watch Program. PLEASE fill out the form and return it to Lisa at 38 La Platte Rd. It is necessary to fill out a new data sheet every year, so even though you may have done one last year, we will need you to fill out another one every year. Your form will then be passed on to your block captain. Block captains are listed on our website so feel free to look up your block captain there, they are also included below. If you see no one listed for your block that means we are still looking for a block captain for that area. If you would be interested in being a block captain please contact Lisa.
Annual Dues
Our neighborhood association is important and in order for it to continue we need to have support both financially and socially. Annual dues are $10 per household. We have 3 funds, the Dewatering Fund, the General Fund and the Park Improvement Fund. Most of you know that some homes on the east side of our neighborhood had water damage in the past years which is why there are dewatering pumps in the neighborhood. Beginning in the summer of 2010 the City of Kearney took over maintenance on these pumps and is checking on them frequently but if a new pump would be needed or if for some unexpected reason the city would want to give that back to our neighborhood we would be better prepared for that if we have the funds to do it. You are free to give whatever amount you choose to the Dewatering Fund. The General Fund is used to help pay for supplies, website domain fees, neighborhood get togethers and garage sale ads. Please denote if you would like your donation split into separate funds.
Thank you for your donation. (Remember your stamps and envelopes are part of your donation.) Please send donations to:Pat Trausch
